The Story of Obvious Adams

The Story of Obvious Adams is a fictionalized account of a very successful businessman.

The original book was written in 1918 by Robert R. Updegraff.

It’s basically a story about a young boy who had meager beginnings, and was able to convince a successful advertising executive to take a chance on him, even though he had no credentials except an eagerness to succeed.

Through sheer determination he because successful with clients by identifying the obvious, and then was nicknamed Obvious Adams by those where were amazed at how easily he was able to work almost sheer magic.

This is a short story, easy to read, and I personally enjoyed it very much. Though fictional, it is a great lesson which pertains to all marketers, which is how to take complex situations and make them seem simple through research.

I think you’ll enjoy it also.
